Salary: £59,478 - £68,920

Lead Practitioner of Science - responsibilities:

  1. Teach general Science at KS3 and your specialism at KS4-KS5 (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
  2. Lead and monitor progress within the department
  3. Review and update the curriculum when required
  4. Monitor learning and behaviour management within your team
  5. Monitor department budget and resources efficiently
  6. Run extracurricular Science activities
  7. Observe pupil development and wellbeing

Lead Practitioner of Science - the school:

  6. Be able to contribute to improving on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum
  7. Have experience of high quality pupil tracking and feedback practices
  8. Strong classroom management
  9. Commitment to CPD
