Lead Developer (PHP/Vue.JS)

• Rate: £375 per day (Outside IR35)
• Contract: 3-month rolling contract
• Location: Mainly remote, with some office days required per month

The Role

A leading organisation in the healthcare sector is looking for a Lead Developer to support the development of new and existing software solutions using PHP and Vue.JS. The role requires strong integration experience, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP applications and Vue.js front-end interfaces
• Optimise and refactor code to improve performance, security, and maintainability
• Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
• Design and implement system integrations for smooth interaction between applications
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based systems to meet industry standards
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and business stakeholders
• Provide technical mentorship and foster knowledge-sharing within the team

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in PHP development (minimum 4 years in large-scale projects)
• Strong experience with PHP 8.3+, Vue.js, JavaScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Previous experience in healthcare software development (preferred but not essential)
