An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Nurse in Tissue Viability offering a strategic vision across the organisation related to tissue viability related issues.
The post holder will be an expert practitioner, providing expert advice in the management of tissue viability and leading the training and development of staff across the Trust with tissue viability.
The post holder will foster a culture of prevention, early and accurate identification and management of complex wounds and tissue damage.
The post holder will foster a culture of research involvement to promote evidence-based practice by actively leading/participating in research relating to wound management.
The post holder will contribute to National forums with their field of expertise and contribute to policy development.
Demonstrating expert knowledge in Tissue Viability in a multitude of organisational forums.
Investigating a participating in patient safety relating issues, complaints, coroners cases, and Datix incidents.
