Lead Mechanical Engineer

Shift Leader - Mechanical - Global media and film organisation, prime central London locations

Salary up to £53,000 + 10% Annual Bonus & On Call Allowance (London) dependent on qualifications and experience

Overtime available (OTE £63kpa)

Shift Pattern - Monday - Friday, 7am - 10pm, Early / late shift pattern

One in four Saturdays at OT rate

What you'll do:

1. Ensure the safe operation and repair of all M&E, building services and fabric equipment on-site.
2. Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on various electrical and mechanical building services equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
3. Instruct & support the engineering team, manage sub-contractor activity, provide administrative support to the Technical Services Supervisor, and undertake training and mentoring of the team.

What We're Looking For:

1. City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering qualification.
2. Proven experience in fast-paced, blue-chip corporate environment.
3. Skilled in MS Office and PDA usage.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
5. Experience with BMS operation.
6. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
7. Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
8. Proactive problem-solver committed to high standards of safety and quality.
