Exciting Opportunity: Lead Maintenance Engineer – Multi-Skilled

My client is a well-established and well backed company, situated in Worcestershire and is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team. With a competitive salary of £43,500 post-probation over £46,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including Pension and Healthcare, this role is a golden opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact in their professional journey. What You Will Do:

  • Follow TPM schedule ensuring all equipment on site is maintained to the required levels ensuring OEE is on target
  • Be responsible for contractors on site as well as supporting other maintenance engineers
  • Confident in ordering engineering parts and using maintenance management systems
  • Swift and effective response to breakdowns supporting production through finding effective engineering solutions
  • Working on steel processing equipment to include conversion, slitting and press work
  • Working safely on hydraulic systems as well as 3-phase electric motors, drives and inverters

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in a Senior or lead Maintenance Engineering role with good electrical fault finding and mechanical repair skills
  • Time Served Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualifications electrically and/or mechanically
  • Ability to work on presses, site services and ancillary equipment
  • Sound knowledge of hydraulics, electrical panels and material handling equipment
  • ROSPA is advantageous

You will have a background as multi-skilled engineer, maintenance fitter, shift engineer or electrically biased maintenance engineer with development into senior maintenance engineer roles or lead maintenance engineer or maintenance shift supervisor level positions.
