Job description

We are a national dispatch company based in Alabama searching for a reliable, self-starter, lead tech individual who can handle a variety of low Voltage installs, rollouts, cable pulls, trouble tickets etc here in Birmingham and surrounding areas on a 1099 basis. The W2 option is available after 90 days for those interested. We are looking to find long-term hires to grow with and be part of our team.

Job Details:

  1. Low voltage, access control, CCTV, networking, telephone, circuit turn-ups, activations, rack and stack, small tasks to large projects.
  2. This is a full-time position.
  3. $30-$35 depending on experience and reference checks.
  4. We are looking to hire experienced lead techs for telephone, datacom, fiber, access control, audio-video, security and fire, and all low voltage.
  5. Pay weekly.
  6. Travel pay included.

Requirements:

  1. Must have your own transportation.
  2. Must have a smartphone.
  3. Must have a laptop & basic datacom hand tools to get started.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to effectively lead others.
  2. Extensive experience with multiple Analog and VOIP types.
  3. Skilled and experienced with cat5e, POS systems, Access points, VOIP, Network racks, CCTV, paging, audio/video etc.
  4. Verifiable professional references.

Responsibilities:

  1. Completing work orders performing trouble tickets, rollouts, and installations, cable pulls, POS system installs, phone system installs, and a variety of technically oriented duties.
  2. Occasionally may be asked to pull permits if required.
  3. Will be asked to travel up to 60 miles one way with travel pay included.
