We are excited to partner with a leading securities and derivatives market infrastructure provider to help find Senior/Lead Core Java Developers to join their team and directly contribute to the development of a world-leading FX trading platform.

They are dedicated to fostering sustainable economic growth by utilising their roles as a pivotal player, business, regulator, and publicly listed company. Prioritising climate action, they aspire to become a leading hub for sustainable and transitional financing and trading, providing trusted, high-quality, comprehensive products and solutions. The company focuses on building robust systems from scratch and does not use any Java-related frameworks.

A great Senior/Lead Core Java Developer will have:

• 7+ years of experience using Java
• Russel Group degree in Computer Science or related subject
• Excellent communicator and team player
• Leadership/mentoring experience
• Commercial experience solving complex challenges focusing on optimisation, speed and performance
• Experience with AWS or GCP

As a Senior/Lead Core Java Developer, you will:

• Work in the cloud, building microservices and collaborating with the product and design teams to architect, build, deliver, and support client-driven projects.
• Spend the first few months as a Senior developer and then progress into a lead developer role
• Directly contribute to the development of a world-leading FX trading platform
• Collaborate with all teams and levels to achieve business goals cost-effectively and promptly.
