Job description

Lead Integrator

Duration - 6 Months

Location - Halifax/Leeds - 3 days in office per week

Purpose:
The purpose of the Lead Integrator is to coordinate dependencies between the Lab(s) and stakeholders external to the Lab such as other labs, platforms, Group Executive Functions, and 3rd parties, which may include coordinating complex and high-risk implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish pivotal integration points across Labs/Platforms and effectively communicate these integration points to relevant stakeholders.
  2. Develop the sequence for integration-related tasks in collaboration with Lab Leadership and aligned to the Lab backlog.
  3. Catalogue and manage dependencies between other teams, working with stakeholders to ensure interlock, enabling the platform to deliver at pace.
  4. Identify blockers to delivery and, where possible, mitigate/resolve, escalating to product owner(s)/platform leadership where required.
  5. Manage suppliers (3rd Party), providing oversight and managing underperformance.
  6. Manage implementations requiring integration between multiple parties (internal/external) to ensure safe delivery.
  7. Coordinate the integration process and/or implementation events across shared infrastructure (e.g., Upgrading the Mainframe); coordinating parties to get the change over the line.
  8. Provide expertise (not content) for governance activity owned by the Product Owner, e.g., PRIA, for change across multiple programmes.

Skills You'll Need:
  1. Agile Methodology & Tools: Manage agile teams across the business, delivering high priority or significant change to the Bank. Act as a servant leader to build a work environment in which colleagues, at all levels, feel respected, appreciated, and valued.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain long-term relationships, resolving blockers (including problem solving and prioritisation), identifying options, building consensus, and influencing good outcomes.
  3. Planning, Tracking, Reporting & Governance: Communicate regular status updates to key stakeholders while resolving high priority issues affecting delivery.
  4. Leadership & Culture: Apply experience in cultural change initiatives to support various agendas in the Group (e.g., feedback). Understand the main barriers to changing culture and the criticality of leadership agreement.
  5. Coaching & Feedback: Use active listening and empathy to connect with people, providing clear, relevant, constructive, solution-focused, and motivating advice.

Ideally, You'll Also Have Experience In:
  1. Change management governance/methodology
  2. Delivering complex/high risk implementations
  3. Business & technology change
  4. Experience of working in Mortgage/Mortgage change functions
  5. Leadership, leading other integrators, stakeholder management
  6. Leading complex projects, leading multiple changes
