Lead Fitter: £Open (DOE) + Competitive Salary + Overtime paid at Time ½ + Van + Pension + Bonus + Hotel Allowance + Meal Allowance

Fitter's Mate: £Open (DOE) + Competitive Salary + Overtime paid at Time ½ + Pension + Bonus + Hotel Allowance + Meal Allowance

Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Our client is a leading national signage company offering a wide range of products including internal and external signs, illuminated signs, wall signs, fascia signs, banners, lanterns, and built-up letters. They offer a full service to the customer from site survey to design of the sign and then manufacture and installation.

They are looking to recruit a Lead Sign Fitter and a Fitter's Mate to join their team. The role includes collecting products from the head office and travelling throughout the UK to install a wide range of internal and external signage.

Responsibilities:

1. Attend sites to install various sign systems in a timely and efficient manner
2. Abide by on site Health & Safety procedures
3. Liaising with clients and representing the company at all times
4. Load and unload company vehicles, ensuring signs are well protected
5. Operate light machinery, access equipment and tools in accordance with industry standards
6. Fitting vinyl in different environments internally within customer's premises or externally
7. Window graphic installation
8. Maintain personal tools and equipment
9. Experience in the signage industry, including processes, timeframes, and potential issues
10. A strong attention to detail whilst multitasking or working on own initiative
11. CSCS, IPAF, or PASMA are a distinct advantage
12. Hold a full UK Driving License (Lead Fitter Role)
13. Comfortable working at heights and with power tools
14. Ability to use a sign lab / plotter is preferable

The role will be mainly locally based with some national travel and nights away approximately 1 - 2 nights per week.
