At Lead Forensics, a leading SAAS company in the B2B Sales and Marketing space, we seek an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate scalable cloud architectures that deliver our services to customers.

About the Role

Working closely with software development teams and reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will ensure our hosting platform meets performance, reliability, and cost targets. This hands-on role requires expertise in physical infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and security.

The role is remote-first, but candidates must be within reasonable travel time of our Portsmouth-based hosting locations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Engineer, monitor, and support complex hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
2. Work with infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, and commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices.
3. Develop troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while working with Windows and Linux ecosystems.
4. Apply scripting and programming experience to drive results.

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and monitoring.
2. Good knowledge of operating systems and networks, covering both Windows and Linux ecosystems.
3. Experience of working with commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Scripting/programming experience.
6. Exposure to ISO27001 or other security standards.
