Job Description

We are hiring for one of our clients, a leading company in the Oil and Gas Sector, a Lead ICSS and Instrumentation Engineer.

Position based in London.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. The service holder must possess strong expertise in Instrument and ICSS discipline for oil and gas projects, and be able to identify, control, and manage risks related to its scope of work and highlight any opportunities. This includes adhering to the Company Code of Conduct, Vision, Values, and Behaviours, as supported by the Safe System of Working including Accountability of Safety.
  2. Manage the instrument and ICSS discipline for the onshore CPF and all associated interfaces with existing EPS platform and telecom system.
  3. Be experienced in coordinating and participating in HSE reviews such as SIL reviews. Shall be aware of TotalEnergies HSE Standards. Shall be experienced in evaluating various I&C and equipment packages as part of Technical Bid Evaluations.
  4. Shall be able to resolve Technical Queries raised by Engineers, 3rd party Consultants, and Bidders for Packages.
  5. Have complete knowledge of Process Automation systems including ICSS/DCS, Alarm Management System related system design, detailed engineering, and developing system architectures.
  6. Have knowledge of telecom systems including Fiber Optics, CCTV, PA, ACS, Telephones, Structured Cabling, Transmission networks including developing system design, detailed engineering, conducting coverage studies review, and system architectures.
  7. Have deep knowledge of network security implementation and cyber security. Assist in determining schedule and budget requirements, prepare draft cost estimates.
  8. Review design calculations documents.
  9. Update and maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
  10. Knowledge of environmental principles, practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and current country legislative issues.

Main Qualifications:

  • +15 years of experience in a similar position as a lead ICSS.
  • +15 years of experience in FEED and Onshore Projects.
  • Proficiency level in English.
