Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Lead Generation Specialist to join our team within our European Small Molecule and TIDES CRDMO (Contract Research Development and Manufacturing Organization) solutions segment. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge of API development and manufacturing solutions as well as the pharmaceutical/biotech landscape to reach out and nurture leads generated by the Market Intelligence and Business Development team. By crafting targeted and tailored offers, the Lead Generation Specialist will align our small molecule and Tides solutions with the specific needs of our biotech and pharma prospects. Proficiency in marketing communication and digital marketing tools, including professional social platforms, is essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Engage with Leads: Reach out to pre-qualified leads generated by the Market Intelligence team with customized, solution-driven offers that align with the prospects' pipeline and our small molecule and Tides solutions.
  2. Tailored Communication: Develop and execute targeted marketing communications that resonate with potential biotech and pharma clients, ensuring alignment with their research, development, and manufacturing needs.
  3. Pipeline Matching: Analyze client pipelines and align our CRDMO offerings to address specific challenges in drug discovery, development, and manufacturing, focusing on Small Molecules and Tides.
  4. Digital Marketing Execution: Utilize digital marketing tools (e.g., email marketing, CRM systems) and professional social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, industry-specific forums) to nurture relationships and generate qualified leads.
  5. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, positioning, and campaigns, ensuring a consistent flow of communication with potential clients.
  6. Data-Driven Approach: Use data and analytics to measure lead generation success, refine outreach strategies, and report on KPIs to ensure optimal ROI for marketing efforts.
  7. Market Drivers: Maintain a strong understanding of current trends, technologies, and competitive activities in the biotech and pharma CRDMO sector, especially regarding small molecule and Tides solutions.

Qualifications

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Industry Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in lead generation, marketing, or sales within the pharmaceutical/biotech/CDMO industry, with a focus on small molecules and/or Tides.
  3. Marketing Skills: Proven ability to create compelling marketing content and offers tailored to specific client needs, with hands-on experience using digital marketing tools and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
  4. Organic Chemistry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the chemical processes involved in small molecule and Tides drug development and manufacturing.
  5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
  6. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and lead tracking software to manage and optimize outreach efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with contract research or manufacturing organizations (CROs/CDMOs).
  2. Familiarity with current trends in drug development, especially in the small molecule and peptide-based therapeutics space.
  3. Knowledge of the biotech and pharma landscape, including key players, trends, and drug development pipelines.
