Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers

Architect, design, and implement complex frontend solutions

Drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative frontend solutions across both greenfield and legacy estates

Establish coding standards, best practices, and enforce architectural guidelines for frontend development

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends

Champion user-centric design and development practices

Adapt quickly to changing requirements and technological landscapes

Skills and Experience required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

7+ years of experience in frontend development

3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role

Proven track record of successfully delivered complex frontend projects

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience with microservices architecture and its implications on frontend development

Familiarity with agile development methodologies

Experience with scalable, high-performance web applications

Product-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on user empathy

Ability to work and deliver with high velocity

Adaptable and resilient in the face of changing requirements and technologies

Proactive in identifying and solving user experience challenges

Passionate about creating intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing user interfaces

Skilled at balancing technical constraints with user needs and business goals

Comfortable making decisions and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback

Good to Have:

Experience implementing and extending design systems

Experience with ReactFlow

Proficiency in 2D graphics with HTML canvas

Expertise in Tailwind CSS

Experience with WebSocket implementations in frontend applications

Knowledge of build system configuration and optimization
