Lead Fabric Data Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to support the delivery of a greenfield data warehouse build for our client, who are transitioning away from their legacy Oracle and SQL-based systems. This is a unique opportunity to work on a new Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse from the ground up.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the greenfield build of a Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse
2. Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver against timelines and milestones
3. Oversee and review offshore engineering work to ensure quality and consistency
4. Establish DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines suited to the Fabric environment
5. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
6. Ability to check, review, and maintain high-quality engineering output from others
7. Proven experience establishing DevOps practices within a data engineering environment
8. Solid understanding and delivery experience within Agile methodology frameworks
