Lead Enterprise Architect

On behalf of the National Crime Agency, we are looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect (Inside IR35) for a 3-month contract based hybrid role twice a month in Birmingham.

Note: SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role; as a minimum, you will need to be eligible for SC.

The ICCM and JICC projects require a Lead Enterprise Architect to ensure the solutions for these projects are fully integrated with the existing infrastructure and that the solutions themselves meet the Agency's requirements. The Lead Enterprise Architect is responsible for producing high-level designs for the projects that meet the demands of the business. They are also responsible for the integration of suppliers' designs with the Agency's designs to provide an integrated and seamless service to the end users.

On a day-to-day basis, the Lead Enterprise Architect will:

1. Create and review designs.
2. Work with business representatives to analyze business requirements.
3. Build solutions for complex business challenges.
4. Build and tailor the technical infrastructure to meet the demands of the business.

Requirements:

1. Security Cleared to SC Level.
2. Extensive knowledge of designing and implementing Azure Test and Production environments.
3. Experience in leading a group of solution architects and providing them with direction and guidance in implementing a cloud solution.
4. Experience in working with the business and senior technical stakeholders to understand the Agency's challenges and provide robust and security-compliant solutions.
5. Knowledgeable in delivering an end-to-end service to business stakeholders.
6. Experience in working with senior delivery managers on aspects like project schedule, budget, and scope.
7. Able to assist in monitoring the progress, quality, and costs of projects.
8. Experience of Azure alerts and metrics, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
9. Good knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipeline methodologies.
10. Extensive (10+ years) experience in Cloud, Networks, and EUD.
11. Extensive experience in Design and Security.
12. Considerable experience in large Central Government Departments.
