The role
The Lead Engineer is a brand-new role in our Fintech’s Engineering team. We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who can be individually productive in development, infrastructure configuration and deployment, or manage and mentor a team of engineers, leading by example. You will be pioneering new projects while navigating the inherent ambiguity and adjustments that come with early-stage development. The Lead Engineer will be comfortable across the software development spectrum, from coding and tooling to infrastructure, and adept at various development processes, plus adapt to new technologies and environment.
On top of your technical expertise, you'll be a champion for your team, empowering each member and fostering a collaborative environment. Looking to seek improvements in productivity and quality is essential for constant innovation, and you will act as the glue that brings consistency and alignment across different engineering disciplines and departments.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a track record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.
