Job description

Location: Cambridge (Hybrid – mainly Remote)

Salary: Up to £75,000

In a world where everyone strives to be connected, why shouldn’t our devices help enable and improve that connection? Whether it be a social connection like a coffee over zoom or the ability to seamlessly interact with a smart home.

This opportunity is for a company who is a global leader in device security, embedded systems and lifecycle management. They are focused on delivering advanced security solutions into the emerging industrial Internet of Things, critical infrastructure, automotive and other markets.

They are looking for a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join the team and this role will specifically suit someone experienced working at the “Bare Metal” level on microcontroller devices and knowledge of low-level operating system implementations.

The key requirements are:

  • Extensive experience with C at a bare metal level.
  • Experience using a variety of microcontrollers.
  • Ability or desire to not only be an individual contributor but also lead a team.

As an added bonus, the company follows a hybrid working policy giving you more flexibility to maintain a good work/life balance and avoid the pains of the daily commute. You will only be required on-site when it is an absolute necessity and as soon as you’re not needed you can commute home and finish your day there all on company time!
