Lead Electronics Design Engineer

A market leading organisation based near Portsmouth, Hampshire are looking for a Lead Electronics Design Engineer to join a team developing electronics in the Aerospace industry.

The role is predominantly based around analogue electronics design with some digital and power electronics. The successful Lead Electronics Design Engineer will be working on the design and development of new products and maintaining the existing product ranges. You will be based out of their site near Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Key responsibilities of the Lead Electronics Design Engineer job:

* Capturing, specifying and managing design requirements.

* Carrying out or supervising verification and validation of new product designs.

* Designing and developing new products ensuring a high standard of product quality and reliability.

Key skills/experience required for the Lead Electronics Design Engineer job:

* Proven electronics design experience in an R&D environment

* Expertise in analogue electronic design

* Knowledge of power electronics certification would be beneficial

* Experience in the Aerospace sector
