About You
You are an experienced Document Control professional with a strong background in managing document control systems within large-scale engineering projects. You bring over 15 years of professional experience, ideally with extensive knowledge of project documentation processes in the oil and gas sector. You have a solid understanding of document management software (specifically, new PRODOM or similar) and experience establishing, monitoring, and maintaining rigorous documentation systems. Detail-oriented and highly organized, you are proactive in identifying and addressing issues within document control processes. You are fluent in English and comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders across various technical disciplines and organizations.
About the Role
As a Document Controller FFD project, your role begins in the FEED phase with the potential to extend through the EPC phase, overseeing all documentation until the project close-out. In this position, you will manage the Document Control Management System (new PRODOM), ensuring accurate storage, retrieval, and communication of all engineering records. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a structured document control process, creating a filing system, and enforcing quality and compliance standards for documentation. Key activities include monitoring contractor document submissions, providing essential project information for weekly and monthly reports, supporting project teams in using new PRODOM, and maintaining records for all transmitted documents. You will be located initially in London or Paris during FEED and transition to the EPC Contractor location as the project advances.
About the Company
The Conventional Gas & Condensates field project, managed by the Joint Operating Company is an international initiative located offshore in Azerbaijan’s Caspian Sea. Situated in a strategic location approximately 100 km from Baku, this project aims to supply natural gas to the domestic market via the Sangachal main facilities and to the international market through the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP). The field project offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where professionals contribute to a project of significant regional and global impact. This role is residential, with an initial one-year contract and the possibility of renewal as the project progresses.
