Lead Digital Designer

Role Description

We’re looking for a Lead Digital Designer to bring their creative expertise, UX knowledge, and problem-solving skills to our team. If you’re passionate about designing exceptional digital experiences for the future, have a keen eye for detail, and love pushing the boundaries of web and UI design, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the end-to-end design process for websites and apps, from site mapping to high-fidelity wireframing and professional prototyping.
• Ensure designs are accessible, user-friendly, and meet the highest UX standards.
• Develop and maintain a design system, setting up repositories in prototyping software like Figma.
• Oversee proofing and revision management with clients, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate closely with developers, handling design handovers and ensuring a smooth transition from design to development.
• Create and manage website testing sheets and lead the website testing process to maintain quality and functionality.
• Demonstrate pro-level digital design skills, producing visually compelling and strategically sound designs.
• Supporting other studio and creative tasks such as design collateral for marketing, video and project requirements where needed.
• 3-6 years of experience in brand design, digital design, or a related field.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (required).
• Strong understanding of UX principles and the ability to apply them to branding and digital design.
• Experience working with flowchart software such as Lucidchart.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in professional ICT tools and project management software.
• A portfolio that showcases your ability to create compelling, professional brand identities and digital designs.
• Experience in brand identity and strategy.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility design principles.
• Ability to create 3D animations for web (e.g., using Blender, Spline).
• Experience and ability to create 2D animations (e.g using After Effects).
• Creation of video design components, such as intro/outros, transitions and similar.
