About the Lead DevOps Engineer position:

Sellick Partnership is delighted to be supporting a long-standing North East based client with the recruitment of a Lead DevOps Engineer to engage in an exciting new project. This role is with a North East based organisation but is fully remote to accommodate your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the DevOps function and the management of Backend and Frontend Infrastructure in Azure and AWS environments.
2. Act as the primary infrastructure engineer responsible for managing and provisioning all Cloud Infrastructure.
3. Engage in delivering on DevOps projects, writing infrastructure as code, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal Candidate Experience:

1. Strong technical experience in an Azure and AWS DevOps Environment.
2. Hands-on technical and lead/mentorship experience.
3. Proven track record of defining and implementing DevOps standards, frameworks, and managing the delivery pipeline.
4. Drive continuous improvement that will enable change and/or improvement of existing operations and processes through improved technology or processes.
