Job Title: Lead DevOps Engineer

Location: Manchester (1 day a week in-office)

Salary: £100,000+ with an excellent pension plan

Are you a seasoned DevOps professional with a passion for innovative technology? We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to lead and work on a core payments platform technically. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth software deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical applications.
• Oversee and mentor a small team of DevOps or SRE engineers.
• Implement cloud security best practices across all aspects of the infrastructure.

The Skills You’ll Need:

• Deep understanding of AWS services and infrastructure
• Expertise in CI/CD, configuration management, containers, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong skills in Terraform, Bash, Python, or Golang
• Experience running large mission-critical workloads in AWS
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices
• Proven experience managing and guiding a small team of engineers
