Lead Developer with full stack development experience (Python, legacy PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CI/CD, AWS etc) is sought by a market leading PaaS organisation based in central Manchester.

With recent investment, this organisation is looking for a Lead Developer who will play a crucial role in re-platforming and driving automation and cloud best practice (AWS), offering a high level of autonomy. As the team scales and adds additional platform functionality, this Lead Developer will work closely with department heads to develop a technical roadmap, stepping up into a head of engineering and then an operational CTO, offering excellent progression.

Key Skills Required:

1. Full stack development experience (ideally with PHP & Python skills, but polyglot engineers are also welcome)
2. Experience building and supporting web applications in AWS
3. Cloud native architecture experience
4. Solid pipeline automation skills (CI/CD)
5. Test driven development experience
6. Proven team mentorship skills
7. Ability to shape a technical strategy
8. Experience working in a Product or PaaS environment
