The Role - Lead Dental Nurse/Treatment Coordinator at Angle House Chingford
We are looking for an experienced Lead Dental Nurse/Treatment Coordinator, who wants to be a big part of the Angle House success story. Our orthodontists rely on the Lead Dental Nurse/Treatment Coordinator to assist with a range of dental procedures, while our patients appreciate the reliability and reassurance – they need to know they’re in safe hands. The Lead Dental Nurse is also responsible for managing the dental nursing team and clinical compliance.

This role is full-time, 40 hours a week.

Key duties:
- Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the patient journey from start to end
- Responsible for smile checks, consultations as well as offering and discussing different treatment options with patients while always prioritising their needs
- Promoting private treatment and being involved with marketing programs
- Building and maintaining fantastic relationships with patients by offering personalised care
- Manage dental nursing team according to the diary and business needs
- Perform regular checks and audits to ensure health and safety as well as CQC compliance
- Provide chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
- Ensure the care and welfare of patients
- Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
- Communicate with patients and provide support throughout their patient journey
- Support the Practice Manager and the clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients
- Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate and according to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers' instructions
- Liaise with Dental Nurses and reception to ensure smooth running of the practice, patient communications and transfer of records
- Help make agreed business objectives happen, and monitor achievements
Requirements:
- Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent
- GDC Registration
- Interest in Orthodontics
- Customer focus & enthusiasm
Desirable:
- 5+ years of nursing experience
- Experience in iTero/Trios scanning
- Radiography qualification
- Previous experience with orthodontics is desirable
- Team and Diary Management
- Previous experience using iComply, DoIt, SOE or Dentally is desirable
