We are looking for a seasoned Lead Data Scientist to help us shape Emergn’s exciting future and play an important role in our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and refine predictive models using machine learning algorithms to forecast business outcomes and support decision-making processes.
  • Apply techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time-series analysis.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate on projects to integrate data science solutions into production environments.
  • Perform complex statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and other statistical techniques to validate findings.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and webinars by presenting on advanced data science topics, methodologies, and case studies.
  • Participate in panel discussions and workshops to share insights and trends in data science.
  • Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis, modeling, and coding.
  • Lead data science initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science.
  • Organize internal workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing events to promote data literacy and advanced analytical techniques within the company.
  • Develop and champion best practices, standards, and guidelines for data science activities.
  • Experiment with new algorithms, tools, and techniques to drive innovation within the team.
  • Continuously improve data science workflows and processes for efficiency and scalability.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Proven track record of leading data science projects from ideation to production.
  • Experience mentoring junior data scientists and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry-specific knowledge (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) to tailor data science solutions to business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
