£75,000 - £90,000 + Progression + Pension

An excellent opportunity awaits an experienced Data Engineer/Architect looking for a hands-on lead role where you will take ownership of and lead the data solutions, with progression, autonomy, and great growth potential.

This company is an established business focused on operational and management solutions, specialising in monitoring services.

In this role, you will join the existing data team and lead the design, build, and delivery of the company's data solutions. You will take ownership of the data architecture, including modelling and warehousing, and work closely with senior stakeholders to define data strategy, governance, and structure. This is a remote position based in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the Azure Data stack, with Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse, designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, and building scalable data architecture. The right candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of the operational and commercial implications of data-driven decision-making and will play a key role in driving this within the business.

The Role:

1. Hands on Lead focusing on Data Architecture, Build and Delivery
2. Define Data Strategy, Governance and Structure
3. Lead the development and maintenance of data models and warehousing
4. Remote based role in the UK

The Person:

1. Strong experience in Data Architecture, Engineering, and Warehousing within the Azure Stack
2. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and data pipelines
3. Ability to make data-driven decisions based on commercial and operational implications
4. Based in the UK
