Lead Control Systems Integration Engineer (Remote or Hybrid opportunity)

This is a fantastic opportunity to start a new Adsyst team! We are looking to expand our operations further with a view to open a new office. This role will have a vital part to play in this.

As a Lead Control Systems Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life cycle delivery of the project in both technical compliance and quality. Attending meetings with clients to discuss the design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing and commissioning for projects.

As a Lead Control Systems Integration Engineer, you will bring an innovative approach to problem solving, working with highly skilled engineers to help you develop and succeed in your career.

Full-time position: (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays)

This position can be a fully remote, working from home role or we can make it a hybrid position where you can work from one of our other offices for some of the week.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in designing control systems PLC and HMI/SCADA software and making amendments/upgrades to existing system software.
  • Experience in producing project documentation
  • Competence in the programming of PLCs like Siemens, Rockwell, or Mitsubishi PLCs AND/OR competence in programming SCADA systems like Siemens, Rockwell or Wonderware HMI/SCADA platforms.
  • UK Sites commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home)

What we require from you:

  • Previous control system experience (5 years+)
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers to improve performance
  • Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
  • Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens Mitsubishi PLCs or experience of SCADA systems like Wonderware, Iconics, Schneider or other platforms
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Clean UK Driving License
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
