Lead BI Developer

12-month FTC

£80,000 - £90,000 plus benefits

London - 3 days a week onsite

iO Associates are working with an established and growing financial services company who are looking for an experienced BI Consultant to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.

They are a leading global financing provider who work with venture capital-backed companies, managing more than £3 billion of assets for a broad range of investors.

Working as part of the BI function, you will work as Lead BI Developer, driving a shift in data culture, and help them to transition the way they use self-serve reporting and BI in the business.

This role will focus predominantly on the transition and setup of retail data sets within Snowflake. You will need to have experience of the full data life cycle, including ETL processes, connecting to APIs, high-speed data cleansing, and rigorous testing and validation to ensure data integrity and quality.

What they are looking for:

• Extensive experience with the full data life cycle, including data collection, ETL processes, cleansing, testing, validation & reporting.
• MUST have experience with ThoughtSpot.
• Working knowledge of Tableau.
• A solid understanding of how data needs to be optimally tabulated to enable reporting.
• Knowledge of how new AI branches within BI tools can be leveraged, and how we need to adapt what we do to take advantage of them.
• Strong SQL skills including Dynamic Tables, JSON Flattening and Star Schema architecture.
• Proficient with data movement tools and techniques, ensuring efficient data integration and transformation across systems.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
