Join our dynamic Food Data and Analytics team at M&S, comprising four dedicated teams that provide the tools for data-driven decision-making across the business. As part of M&S's ongoing transformation program, which is centred on enhancing digital and data capabilities, we have already had a significant commercial impact but are looking to expand to exploit further opportunities. Our long-term goal is to automate processes and embed high-quality insight driven by business intelligence throughout the Food business.

As a Lead BI Developer, you will be an essential part of the Reporting function and head up a focused squad of BI developers who will be aligned to specific food sub areas. Leveraging your expertise and previous experience, your role involves delivering projects end-to-end which deliver actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements. You will oversee the full project lifecycle; from collaborating with business stakeholders to define project scope, to providing technical leadership during the design and build phases, project managing the solution rollout, and assessing the commercial and operational impact.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.
