Job Description

The mission

In our Manufacturing team in Eindhoven, approximately 100 employees work in various production departments. The teams report directly to the group leader/supervisor within the operational production department. The production team's mission is to deliver systems on time, with excellent product quality to various customers. This is done by following the thorough work instructions, procedures and defined issue processes. This work is done in our high-end cleanroom. We work to continuously improve our performance by actively seeking feedback from our internal and external customers and through open and direct feedback to our suppliers.

The challenge + position

In this role you act as a lead assembler of the imaging filters group. You are responsible for the introduction and training of new employees, you are the bridge between production, engineering and R&D to solve issues as quickly as possible, you are responsible to maintain and improve the clean working method and you join the monthly external 5s audit and act when needed to improve the 5s score. In this role you also work closely together with the supervisor to help with the daily planning and to lead the daily whiteboard meetings when needed. We are open to candidates with experience in similar positions and recent graduates who want to make their first career move. You must be driven by technical challenges of both mechanically and electrically and enjoy working in a cleanroom environment. The imaging filters have a lead time of 2 – 3 weeks to assemble and test before going to the system.

Specific responsibilities are:

1. First line support between troubleshooting and engineering department
2. Back-up teamlead/supervisor
3. Introduce and help new people
4. Perform work based on work instructions
5. Testing and troubleshooting of the various modules
6. Timely delivery of modules with the right quality
7. Working on continuous improvements of products and related processes
8. Active participation in daily whiteboard meetings
9. Independent detection, analysis to tackle problems
10. Working with high vacuum and high voltage

The requirements

The candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:

1. Secondary technical education (MBO) with at least 2 years of work experience, preferably mechanics, electronics (mechatronic)
2. Good communication skills (written and oral) in both Dutch and English
3. Experience with ESD safe working
4. Experience with vacuum technology
5. Experience with electronic measuring equipment
6. Experience with Windows and other PC based software installations
