Job description

Lead Air Conditioning Engineer

Up To £55,000

My client is seeking a talented Lead Air Conditioning Engineer to join the team in a permanent role. They are one of the fastest growing companies in the Building Services industry with ambitious growth plans, so it's a great time to join the business.

Air Conditioning Engineer Role & Responsibilities:
  1. To be customer facing and help supervise other engineers on site.
  2. Visiting client's sites to carry out scheduled planned maintenance visits and servicing.
  3. Working on a variety of air conditioning units including Split units, VRV's, VRF's, twin and multi-splits, chillers and more.
  4. Building on existing and creating new relationships with clients on site.
  5. Carrying out reactive maintenance visits where you will need to fault find, diagnose, isolate and repair.
  6. Updating, renewing and correcting asset lists to ensure that the contract will run smoothly.
  7. Helping to quote for remedial works and other small projects.
  8. Delivering remedial works and other small projects.
  9. Submitting detailed engineering reports to ensure our office team can communicate clearly with the client.
Air Conditioning Engineer Requirements:
  1. Committed to the client with a strong work ethic.
  2. Help mentor and guide more junior engineers.
  3. Assist the company in driving new business.
  4. Due to the nature of certain sites, we are sometimes required to stay on a job until it is completed.
  5. Confident in your ability to carry out a breakdown and repair job to high standards.
  6. Be a problem solver.
  7. Qualified - As an Air Conditioning Engineer you will of course need an F-Gas Qualification.
  8. An NVQ Level 2 would be preferable but is not necessary.
  9. Any other Health & Safety Tickets such as PASMA or IPAF are an added bonus.
Air Conditioning Engineer Package:

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus door-to-door travel paid.
Hours: 42.5 hours. Monday to Friday.
Holiday: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
