Launch Manager

A global automotive component manufacturer requires a Launch Manager to manage the launch of future projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in new product launch and worked in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Redditch, Coventry, Birmingham, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Stourbridge.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 p.a. + Car Allowance + Up to 14% pension (Employee and Employer contributions) + Family Bupa + Bonus.

Duration: 18 Months fixed term contract.

Suitable for: NPI Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, Senior Launch Engineer, Launch Manager.

The Role

Reporting into the Technical Manager, you will have the following duties:

1. Be an active and integrated member of the program team developing detailed knowledge of products and processes.
2. Liaise and report the program status and progress to the Technical Manager.
3. Manage the launch accountability process and communicate through the plant meeting cadence.
4. Participate and assist in PFMEA's and process flow development.
5. Lead and deliver new product launches.

The Person

Educated to degree level or holding qualifications in engineering or project management, you will have the following experiences:

1. Proven experience in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
2. New product launch experience.
3. Experience of managing multiple projects from development to launch.
