What You Will Do:

1. Serve as the subject matter expert for Laser processing activities, influencing new process concepts from both engineering and shop floor perspectives.
2. Develop and implement process improvements, equipment layouts reflecting lean principles, and support milestone activities alongside the Engineering Manager.
3. Lead the introduction of new equipment and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities, ensuring all key deliverables such as cycle time and safety approvals are met.
4. Collaborate with Quality teams to maintain high standards for manufacturing processes, implementing quality control measures to prevent defects.
5. Provide technical support to production teams, resolving manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Monitor and drive initiatives to achieve key performance indicators related to manufacturing efficiency, quality, and safety.

What You Will Bring:

1. An apprenticeship in Engineering or equivalent experience, with a Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering being a plus.
2. Familiarity with laser cutting/welding and a desire to continually improve and learn new skills.
3. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality management systems.
4. Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing strong working relationships across all levels of the business.
