Job Title: Laser / Machine Operator

Location: Corby

Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible 8 hour shifts

Pay: £23,000 - £26,000 (DOE)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Laser / Machine Operator to be part of our client's growing company, which has been established for over 20 years. My client is a market-leading subcontract cutting service with strong values and a family-run business based in Corby.

They are looking for a laser cutting operative to join the team on a permanent basis. Working alongside the factory team, the potential candidate will be offered full training as required and will work alongside production to produce a range of custom patterns and profiles, with a high focus on quality control.

Job Description:
  1. Setting up and preparing machines before and after production.
  2. Manage and oversee the running of the assigned machine.
  3. Ensure that products match technical drawings and given specifications.
  4. Act as a team player, helping others on the factory floor where required to ensure maximum efficiency.
  5. Prioritize and maintain quality control, ensuring the best product finish is attained.
The Ideal Candidate:
  1. Will be able to focus on detail and work to a high standard.
  2. Able to operate in an organized manner.
  3. Will hold a forklift license - Desirable but not essential.
  4. Availability for weekend shifts.
