Job Title: Large Format Printer

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire

Company: A well-established Print and Signage company.

Role: Our client is currently looking for a Large Format Printer/Print Finisher to join their in-house facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Running finishing equipment including: Zund cutting etc.
2. An interest in design and ideally some experience of Adobe Illustrator
3. Experience operating large format digital flatbed and roll to roll printers and cutting tables
4. Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing, producing, and finishing products
5. Preparing artwork for production using Adobe Illustrator
6. Setting up and operating print jobs on Roland flatbed and roll to roll large format printers
7. Operating/cutting and CNC routing table
8. Producing cut shape graphics for sign making and vehicle application
9. Operating laminating equipment and finishing printed products ready for installation
10. Applying vinyl graphics

Requirements:

1. Strong experience in Large Format printing and finishing – essential
2. Working on a Zund is highly advantageous
3. Weeding and Cutting Vinyl
4. Able to work as part of the team to create the best solutions for our customers
5. Computer literate - specific training in our software will be given
6. A good level of written English
7. Able to work with power tools and knives when required
8. Physically able to handle media rolls and boards
9. Good communicator with customers to understand their requirements
