Role: Landscape Architect

Lead Careers are seeking a talented and passionate Landscape Architect to join a dynamic team within a multidisciplinary studio in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, ranging from urban landscapes to large-scale masterplans. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments that enhance both natural and built surroundings.
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop creative landscape designs and solutions across various project scales
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard
- Lead design projects from concept through to construction, including site analysis, design development, and detailed documentation
- Create compelling presentations, including 3D visuals, sketches, and detailed drawings
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project stages
- Attend client meetings and site visits to monitor progress and ensure successful implementation
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Landscape Architecture
- Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute CMLI (desirable)
- Strong design and graphic skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Experience working across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, public realm, and infrastructure
- Knowledge of sustainable and environmental design principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- A passion for creating innovative and sustainable landscape designs
