Location - Bedfordshire

Salary - £28 - £35K DOE

A multi-disciplinary consultancy in Bedfordshire has a new opening for an enthusiastic Assistant Landscape Architect. They have a deep-rooted passion for landscapes, designing, building, and maintenance for a variety of clients. The Assistant Landscape Architect role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, ranging from private gardens and estates to public landscapes for schools and hospitals. The position involves collaboration across teams and direct engagement with senior designers, contributing to all project stages from concept to construction.

ASSISTANT LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting in the design and drafting of landscape projects using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Photoshop.
• Render and amend drawings, and produce construction detail drawings.
• Collaborate with design teams and attend project meetings.
• Undertake site visits with a focus on Health and Safety practices.
• Liaise with clients under the direction of senior designers.
• Work within budgets and client requirements, generating necessary documents and presentations.
• Participate in CPD sessions, design critiques, and knowledge-sharing events.
• Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all communications and appointments.
• Engage in company events and socials to foster team relationships.
• Uphold company values and manage work flexibly, including some remote work.
