Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Land & Property Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join my clients team in their Preston or Kendal offices.


Duties:

  1. Providing excellent client service
  2. Developing relationships with clients
  3. Responsible for smaller matters under supervision
  4. Draft correspondence and court papers
  5. Liaise and correspond with the Court, instruct counsel and experts
  6. Attend court hearings and other all party meetings
  7. Providing support to other team members as required and have the ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of management and supervision of junior members of the team including support staff
  8. Developing knowledge, experience and expertise in the subject areas
  9. Demonstrating the experience and knowledge to deliver good quality legal advice

Skills & Experience:

  1. 0-4 years PQE
  2. Ability to manage own caseload with appropriate supervision
  3. Strong attention to detail
  4. Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet timescales and a desire to help develop processes
  5. Excellent communication skills
  6. Excellent IT skills
  7. Excellent client facing skills
  8. Willingness to engage in business development and help grow the property litigation offering
  9. Experience of acting on a wide range of property litigation cases, including real property, landlord and tenant disputes and contractual disputes
