We are looking for a Customs Coordinator to be based in our Tilbrook site (MK7 8BN) to work Monday – Friday on the following shift patterns: 1400 - 2300.
The position holder will ensure shipments are managed efficiently and ‘right first time’. Also, they will maintain a centre of excellent customer service to the Customs & Logistics clientele of Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd.

The role will offer a salary from £26,650.00 and a shift allowance of £800.00 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth seamless service levels are achieved.
  2. Complete Customs clearance as per customer instructions and adhering to HMRC Regulations.
  3. Complete Transit procedures in line with Customer instructions and adhering to HMRC Regulations.
  4. Act as direct point of contact for clients, ensuring that all operational, Customs requirements and enquiries are responded to on time and concluded accurately and courteously.
  5. Prepare KPI reports and present to clients as required.
  6. Maintain systems with accurate and real-time data.
  7. Monitor and control all cost and revenue at job-file level.
  8. Complete regular audits on the Customs activity to ensure adherence with HM Customs procedures / client instructions.
  9. Confirm and process all job-file invoicing where required.
  10. Ensure total accuracy of all information and high standards of operational service are met at all times.

  8. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Good IT skills – MS Office and Excel.
