A leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Slough area, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This role offers the chance to work closely with laboratory-based scientists, providing essential support services. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring that the laboratory operates smoothly and efficiently.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Complete routine equipment calibration checks and ensure all equipment is ready for use.
  2. Generate and technically review simple analytical buffers for laboratory methods and processes.
  3. Manage laboratory consumables, including stock checks, ordering from internal stores, and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the washroom environment.
  4. Process laboratory deliveries, including receipt, storage, notifications, and dispensing of buffers.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.
  2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory setting.
  3. A working knowledge and practical experience with laboratory equipment calibration, buffer preparation, and consumables management.
