Our client specialises in the development, production, and marketing of microorganisms and their derivatives, and they're looking for a Quality Controller to join them.

Position: Quality Controller

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (24 months)
Working Pattern: Part Time (Wednesday-Friday, 8am-4.30pm)
Annual Salary: £19,766 (pro rata)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our client's products through analytical testing and documentation. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Performing analyses on raw materials and finished products according to agreed schedules.
2. Reporting accurate analytical results in a timely manner.
3. Immediately flagging out-of-specification results and non-conformances to ensure product quality.
4. Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the laboratory environment.
5. Participating in internal and external audits to uphold our quality management system.
6. Keeping skills updated and training other team members as necessary.

1. Experience in a quality control role, preferably within the food, pharma, or medical industries.
2. A keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
3. Strong communication skills to facilitate clear collaboration across departments.
