Laboratory Technician

What You Will Do:

1. Work across different departments including analytical, food product development, and food manufacturing.
2. Provide high-quality customer service by ensuring the effective organisation of workload and the integrity of analytical data.
3. Perform a range of basic routine analyses, product manufacturing, and sample preparation under supervision.
4. Use specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where required.
5. Follow product formulations and methods considering standard operating procedures and food safety.
6. Perform administrative and housekeeping duties as directed.

What You Will Bring:

1. A-levels in a scientific discipline highly desirable.
2. Ability to work flexibly across different laboratories as demand requires.
3. Competence in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role.
4. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Location:

The position is based in a vibrant, state-of-the-art facility in Reading, offering an inspiring work environment designed to foster creativity and innovation. Please note that the role will be partly based at a site in Wokingham every few weeks, so the successful candidate will need to be able to get to both sites.
