Working hours/days: Monday-Friday – 37.5 weekly working hours. You will also be expected to work 1 weekend in every 5 to ensure a 7-day Laboratory operation.
Salary: £33,000- £37,000 depending on experience + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!
Position Summary
We have a fantastic, new opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Manager at our Princes Gate production facility in Pembrokeshire. The main purpose of this role will be to manage the implementation and operation of the factory laboratory function to ensure product and process conformance to required standards.
You will lead your team to provide technical support to factory operations and coordinate implementation of ‘best-in-class’ standards and procedures.

What will make you successful
You will ideally be an experienced Laboratory Manager with some experience of line management would be desirable. Experience in an FMCG environment would also be ideal, but other areas of experience will be considered.
Academic Experience:
- University graduate or equivalent (preferred microbiology, chemistry or food science)
Operational Experience:
- Leader in a technical/production environment: Deputy QA, Quality Systems, Hygienist; or
- QA specialist in a PTC or R&D Centre, NRC, CO-QM
Business Experience:
- Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
