The Analytical and R&D Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the development and optimization of new chemical products, conducting in-depth analysis, and applying scientific expertise to solve complex challenges. This individual will work in the laboratory providing essential support to the research and development efforts of the company.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Conduct R&D projects on current products manufactured on-site as well as development of new products, to agreed schedules, ensuring full compliance with company standards.
  2. Conduct and develop analytical testing methods using a range of analytical techniques including HPLC and autotitration.
  3. Execute experiments to develop new formulations and optimize existing products.
  4. Develop and optimize analytical methodologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and sensitivity.
  5. Collaborate on process development activities and support scale-up activities for manufacturing.
  6. Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  7. Assist with regulatory and safety audits and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
  8. Execution of analytical evaluations to written instructions.
  9. Upkeep of housekeeping standards within the laboratory.

About you:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  2. Knowledge in using analytical techniques such as HPLC and titration. Experience with method development, validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
  3. Some background in experimental design, data analysis, and report preparation.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, interpret data, and solve problems.
  5. Proficient in laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  8. Proficient in the use of laboratory software and instruments, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
