Job summary
An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure a safe and organized laboratory environment while accurately compounding samples to meet customer specifications. Your expertise in Good Manufacturing Practice and strong time management skills will be essential in managing lab consumables and supporting timely sample dispatch. Qualifications
- Preferred degree in Food Science or Chemistry.
- Experience in a Flavour Lab with GMP knowledge.

Job description
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Hours: 08:45 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday; 08:45 to 16:00 on Friday including 45 minutes paid lunch break and 45 minute early finish on a Friday
Salary: Competitive salary plus excellent benefits
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised lab environment, ensuring it remains free of waste.
- Accurately compound samples in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
- Manage lab consumables and raw materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Support sample despatch, providing timely and accurate information and samples to customers.
- A degree in Food Science or Chemistry (preferred).
- Experience in a Flavour Lab environment with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 6 (B) or above in Maths and English.
- Strong time management skills and a flexible approach to work.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- A full, clean driving licence.
