Lab Technician

Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Hours: 08:45 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday 08:45 to 16:00 on Friday including 45 minutes paid lunch break and 45 minute early finish on a Friday

Key Responsibilities of a Lab Technician:

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised lab environment, ensuring it remains free of waste.
• Accurately compound samples in a timely manner to meet customer requirements.
• Manage lab consumables and raw materials, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Support sample despatch, providing timely and accurate information and samples to customers.

Key Skills of a Lab Technician:

• A degree in Food Science or Chemistry (preferred).
• Experience in a Flavour Lab environment with knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 6 (B) or above in Maths and English.
• Strong time management skills and a flexible approach to work.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• A full, clean driving licence.
