Job description

Are you crazy about science? Do you have a passion to share your excellent Biology knowledge with a number of motivated students? Are you willing to go the extra mile to ensure pupil progression?

Xpert Education are looking to appoint a long-term Teacher of Science with a Biology specialism, to begin work with one of our clients in Kent at the start of the January term. The successful candidate will be able to teach KS5 Biology to the best ability. The role also requires the candidate to teach KS3 and KS4 general science.

Candidate Requirements for Secondary Science Teacher:
  1. Strong Science subject knowledge with a specialism – Biology or Chemistry preferable.
  2. Passionate about teaching Science; and students’ learning, development, well-being and progression.
  3. Able to plan, prepare and deliver high quality and well-structured lessons, with effective differentiation.
  4. Excellent classroom management skills.
  5. Committed to pupil attainment.
  6. Able to work as part of a strong and dynamic team, liaising with staff to develop effective schemes of work, curriculum development and upholding the school’s excellent standards.
  7. Be enthusiastic, versatile and reliable.
