Job description

East of England, Essex, St Osyth

Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours

Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialised support and tuition to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their homes or local libraries.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress and social development.
  • Ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Proven experience working with SEN students in Key Stage 2.
  • Understanding of the UK National Curriculum (at least 2 years experience).
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities.

The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to SEN students in their homes or local libraries. The work is based in St Osyth, Essex, and surrounding areas.
