Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored support and intervention to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting
  • Create individualised learning plans to address the specific needs of each student
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Ensure a holistic approach to student development
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with SEN students in a classroom or tutoring setting
  • Knowledge of SEN interventions and strategies
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Key Stage 2 students with SEN
  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Additional training in SEN support and interventions

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to KS2 students with SEN in Basildon, Essex. The work environment will be learners' homes, care homes, or local libraries.
