Are you seeking a new and exciting opportunity to improve the lives of young people and support children with SEND/SEMH needs?
An inclusive and warm two-form entry Primary School in the Thurrock area is seeking a KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join the team ASAP! This role is Long-Term and Full-Time for at least the full academic year.
As a KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils in a variety of settings including small group interventions, on a 1:1 basis and within the class as a whole. The main focus of this position will be to support various children in KS2 with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD and more with their learning and academic development.
The Head Teacher is keen to interview/trial outgoing graduates with strong academics and previous child-based experience. Due to the nature of the role, experience working with SEND is required. You will have the opportunity to work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to support the individual needs of all children requiring additional help.
